Hi Seph, I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is causing such a serious problem for you. We take data loss issues very seriously and want to get to what the cause of this is right away. In order to help us do this can you provide the following information?
1. Attach to this bug any ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log files you have (some may have date/time stamps in the name) 2. Check to see if any of your files or folders in the ~/Ubuntu One/Documents folder have been renamed with .u1conflict at the end of the name (if so, this means the data has not been lost, but Ubuntu One thinks there is a conflict for one reason or another) Thank you, Joshua ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Also affects: ubuntuone-client Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags added: foundations+ ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client Status: Triaged => Incomplete ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client Assignee: (unassigned) => Lucio Torre (lucio.torre) -- UbuntuOne deleted all files in my "Documents" folder. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490712 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
