Hi, The problem has not been solved. I had to do a completely new installation. From the error messages I got the impression that it had something to do with OpenOffice.
I used Linux now for about 10 years, but with kubuntu you have a lot of problems every half year when you have to upgrade. I solved the problems every time (sometimes by a fresh installation), but it costs a lot of time. I now think that Linux is an operating system for computer specialists and not for a simple researcher in electrical engineering like me. I'm very sorry to say that I'm going to use Windows on my next pc.
