Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cpio
Using * Ubuntu Karmic on amd64 * cpio 2.10-1ubuntu1 I'm getting checksum errors when extracting large (>2GB) files from a cpio archive. This could be a regression of http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=335580 - all >2GB files that I checked after the restore had that checksum error. The original files don't exist anymore, so I hope it's the checksum that's wrong... I thought I couldn't reproduce the error for lack of the originals, but now it occurs to me I could try packing and extracting one of the large files and check if they come back out correct. I'll do that as I find the time. ** Affects: cpio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Checksum errors when using copy-in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/491144 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
