Wait for Lucid, I guess... or downgrade to 9.04. Both are pretty bad options... There are similar bugs out there which got a lot more attention then this one, I think is something like a roulette, you have to pray for someone big to see your bug... or try to fix it yourself (if you have the knowledge, which BTW I don't)...
I've subscribed UbuntuX to this bug and e-mailed a big "bug-fixer", but no responses... UbuntuX is no more a subscriber of this bug. I'm living pretty well with this bug, compiz is disabled, no problems, but I feel bad for the people who are using Ubuntu for the first time and got bad impressions... This is the drawback of a 6 month release agenda: little time to test extensively a release before it gets public. Lucid is a LTS release, and I heard they will test it very hard to grant a near 100% stable release. I think we have nothing left to do unless wait. -- Gnome Freezes -- Ubuntu 9.10 -- big time freezes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461163 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
