Hi Albert, It does sound like you're hitting the same problem as in 403697 - running strace on the bzr client process would probably tell us for sure, if it is hanging during an lstat call. So you should probably just subscribe to that bug and I'll reopen it. I suspect it is an OS bug and may not be something bzr can work around.
