Hi,

Thanks for the bug report. I don't believe the application is crashing
(you have no data in your syncdaemon-exception log). I believe the
applet icon is just disappearing, which is expected behavior that can be
changed. If you right click the icon and choose preferences you can set
the hiding preferences. I am marking this as a duplicate of an existing
bug.
