if i install /root on the ssd my system is almost dead. the ssd is so slow that if you install ubuntu on it. then if you install any app from the terminal unless the app is installed the system won't give you response. in the same way whether its chromium or firefox the browsing experience is non responsive and installing ubuntu on the memory card makes everything just fine. and also if i paste or copy something in the /home directory e.g. music or pictures system again becomes non responsive. from jaunty to karmic cycle i have tried many all the available and many installs but non did the trick. just installing on the memory card make everything fine
