It's not fixed in Karmic ..I installed Karmic today and Jokey trow me : You are not authorized to perform this action.
On other computers with the same video card as mine it's working. I have ATI Radeon 2600 HD. Jokey and Network Manager in combination with Policykit are the the second enemy of Ubuntu right now on my humble opinion. ...and I speak from the ground, I'm an active Ubuntu evangelist I install Ubuntu on a daily basis - as far as I see the ATI drivers problem seems to be gone - but policykit + printer drivers + Network Manager (DSL in special) and sometime + Jokey ..they are the most frequently problem.
