Why portmap is activated on client side ? Unless the nfs services have
to perform a call back to the client, I think that portmap is just
wasting resources on client side.

If portmap shouldn't be activated on client side, then it shouldn't be a
dependency of nfs-common but of nfs-kernel-server instead.
