I want to confirm this bug. I have two computers with Ralink rt2500pci and rt2500usb wireless cards and i cannot connect to any wireless, using both the network-manager- plasmoid and WICD in kubuntu karmic. It workes with 9.04 in both cases though.
The nm-plasmoid does connect to the encrypted network but fails in the assigning IP step. Seems to be a kernel driver regression introduced in the kernel from jaunty to karmic (the poster before me states some alpha version when it still worked). This bug maybe a duplicate of Bug #468072. -- no wireless with rt2860 on kubuntu karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/475456 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
