Happens all the time to my wife who playes spider a lot, to the point where she's regretting updating to karmic. She says that before it happens the cards will seem to stutter when she moves then fast. I tried disabling desktop effects to no benefit. Next, I'll try turning off UXA and go back to EXA. That should do it as UXA is mentioned in the backtrace at the top of this message.
