Public bug reported: After upgrading to 9.10 sound doesn't work properly anymore. After periods of silence I have no audio output. Instead I hear a clicking noise periodically. Behaves like something is suspended and doesn't come back again. I have experimented with pulling the external speaker jack on my notebook, deleting ~/.pulse*, and starting me-tv. Normally I get sound again, especially me-tv seems to initialize the audio-subsystem correctly again (if the jack is pulled) but no clear pattern has emerged yet. After I have sound on internal speakers I can plug in the external ones and sound works again until the next quit period. Find attached a log file while I was able to regain output ( pulseaudio -vvvv > pulse.log 2>&1)
