Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ccrypt

When you open an encrypted file in emacs with the jka-compr-ccrypt library in
the ccrypt package, it prompts you for a password. Later, when you want to
save the file, it again prompts you for the password to encrypt the file with.
This makes it more likely a user will accidentally type the wrong password
(even with the confirmation prompt) and encrypt with a password they didn't
intend. This bug was fixed in version 1.8 of ccrypt, but current and future
Ubuntu releases still use the old version 1.7.
Can we upgrade the package to 1.8?
