Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I tried to do ubuntu-bug AFTER the problem happened via ssh (the only possible way to interact with frozen xorg PC) but it was going for more than 6 minutes and nothing happened (just dots...). So if you believe I should keep it up for longer - let me know and I try. Also - Haven't found anything like this for 915, so if there's a duplicate -- sorry. This is a regression for me, as in 9.4 all was working fine. Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 xserver-xorg-video-intel: Zainstalowana: 2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2 KandydujÄ…ca: 2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2 Tabela wersji: *** 2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2 0 500 http://ubuntu.task.gda.pl karmic/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Steps to reproduce: 1. Open display properties: 1 display active, 1 display disabled (black) 2. Change 2nd display to enabled. 3. Apply settings. The desktop and mouse freezes. I am attaching things that could be useful (lspci, dmesg, xorg.log). ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: regression -- Xorg freeze when trying to enable 2nd display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/486592 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
