Hello, and thank you for taking time to report this bug. This seems to be an issue with a program called "Wine" that is being used to run your windows-based programs. Therefore, I have moved the bug report to those people. Hopefully, they will be able to help you further.
I am not personally familiar with mailwasher, but Linux does have several very nice email clients that you could use. A commonly used program which is available for Windows and Linux is Thunderbird. The ability to check your emails without having to download them is not a feature of a program, but rather, a feature of the protocol that you use. By default, many email clients use POP by default, which downloads entire emails. If you use IMAP, then only the email headers (subject line and such) are downloaded first. I suspect that mailwasher might have been using IMAP by default. -- Getting "An internal error has occured: Cyptic error message JX24 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/484583 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
