Hi Tea, OK, that's good (what you reported). Are you behind a proxy server? Also, can you try quitting the Ubuntu One client and then from a terminal session (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) start the Ubuntu One client and report anything that is output? ubuntuone-client-applet
