I have this exact issue in Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10. When I add Nvidia geforce2 mx200 PCI video card (into any/all slots), the computer will not boot and give a kernel panic. I have attached a screen snippet. Ubuntu runs fine without the nvidia pci card. My computer is a CPS D610 (Dell Channel Partner Solutions whitebox).
