@stephen, thank you for your information.  If you could, put the laptop
into battery mode and then run the command 'apport-collect -p gnome-
power-manager 481056' in the terminal.  This will help us gather a
little bit more information about what your computer is doing while it
is on a battery.

@Mark, thank you for taking time to also notice a similar issue.
Because you don't have the exact same laptop as stephen, I would like
for you to file a separate bug report against the gnome-power-manager
package.
