This is indeed a different bug; i had 429035 before and no longer have
it, but i now have this one. After coming back from sleep, the card sees
no networks.

I do have a workaround, however: remove the modules and reload them again.
sudo rmmod cfg80211 mac80211 iwlcore iwlagn
sudo modprobe iwlagn

(change iwlagn for something else, depending on the card you have; do
'lsmod |grep 802' to see which modules you're using)

This is on Ubuntu 9.10, 2.6.31-14-generic i686, a thinkpad x300 with an
ipw 4965agn. I'm using wicd but i get the same results from the command-
line - i don't think this has anything to do with the network manager
tool. It looks like an upstream bug.
