*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 429035 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/429035
This is indeed a different bug; i had 429035 before and no longer have it, but i now have this one. After coming back from sleep, the card sees no networks. I do have a workaround, however: remove the modules and reload them again. sudo rmmod cfg80211 mac80211 iwlcore iwlagn sudo modprobe iwlagn (change iwlagn for something else, depending on the card you have; do 'lsmod |grep 802' to see which modules you're using) This is on Ubuntu 9.10, 2.6.31-14-generic i686, a thinkpad x300 with an ipw 4965agn. I'm using wicd but i get the same results from the command- line - i don't think this has anything to do with the network manager tool. It looks like an upstream bug. -- when wireless connection is lost netbook must be restarted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448469 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu (via bug 429035). -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
