Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. Because you mention
that the freeze happened while using other programs, and because you
have filed another report saying that the freeze happened without flash,
I wonder if Firefox is just a red herring?
To test this, could you try using another browser like Konqueror or
Opera and keep Firefox off to see if the problem occurs again. Given
that this seems to happen fairly frequently, maybe a day's worth of
regular usage should be enough to determine if the problem repeats or
not.
