I think the error you are getting may be related to an Ubuntu One token
issue. Can you try the following and let me know if this helps?

1. Quit Tomboy
2. Open Applications->Accessories->Passwords And Encryption Keys
3. Delete all Desktop Couch tokens
4. Open Tomboy
5. Tomboy->Preferences, Synchronization tab
6. Click the "Clear" button
7. Setup Tomboy sync again

In the mean time, I'm assigning this to one of the developers who is
most likely able to determine what the cause of this problem might be
and get a fix in.
