Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
When installing a package using kpackagekit, the system hangs after resolving the dependencies. At this point, a dialog box should appear that asks the user for his password in order to determine whether he has admin rights. In fact, polkit-kde-manager, whose job it is to open such a box starts, but no dialog is displayed. As a result, kpackagekit freezes and does not react to user inputs anymore. This bug occurs on all our installations, which have ubuntu-desktop and kubuntu-desktop installed. On installations that only have kubuntu- desktop installed, this bug does not show.
