Public bug reported:

Every so often, randomly, it seems, Karmic Koala x64 will disconnect
from an access point. After thinkinga bout it for sever minutes, it will
throw up an empty password dialog asking for the wifi key. Enter it,
karmic will "think" for a few more minutes and ask for the password
again. Lather, rinse, repeat. It's as if Karmic "forgets" the passwords
for any and all APs saved in Network Manager. Karmic will not connect to
any AP without rebooting. Signal strength does not seem to matter as it
happens sitting right next to the AP or several rooms away.
