I can confirm that the flashplugin-installer hangs while downloading from the partner repository (http://archive.canonical.com/pool/partner/a/adobe-flashplugin/) The installer hangs at random states, sometimes even at 99% most annoyingly. I've had this issue with different versions of Ubuntu, and am currently having this issue with Karmic.

I'm wondering if this is a bug, or just a problem with any kind of connection interruptions that hang the installer. Apt-get/synaptic is usually more reliable for resuming and finishing downloads even if it was interrupted for a few minutes. The flash-plugin installer hangs indefinately. -- package flashplugin-installer (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/475573 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
