Public bug reported:

i was not able to reproduce the actual steps that are appropriate to cause this
bug but maybe the logs give a clue.
i.e. i see a segfault there, but i'm not into how to read the log properly.

the case:
suddenly i get a blank screen and then i am thrown to the console login.
after a while gnome is restartet. it's a plain restart, cause i have to login
again and all my opened applications etc. are gone.
