Hi Seems like the slow internet is not the only problem,
I am unable to post this comment, its the 5th time i am trying. This bug is still a *big* problem, It has reappeared in 9.10 and this time i have been careful about what all i install, I have added medibuntu repos and installed googleearth, skype, gstreamer (different types), audacity, vlc, mplayer, thunderbird, etc. And this problem has surfaced again, I have installed epiphany and that has the same problem , so am having to yet again use opera. This firefox bug is making using Ubuntu a bit of a pain and am not sure if the bug is in Ubuntu or in Firefox because the problem is spread over different Ubuntu distros and different machines 1. Ubuntu Studio 8.10 - this too has a problem 2.
