Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
I have ubuntu linux 9.10 for x86-64 platform. The version of Network-manager is 0.8 a git.20091013t193206.679d548-0ubuntu downloaded from ubuntu official repository. My problem has appeared since the last update. The problem is that the wireless adapter (Intel PRO / Wireless 4965 AGN) is not activated by network-manager during the startup and even through the manual execution of network-manager. Gnome applet under "Wireless Networks" is given: "wireless network disabled". If I start network-manager with the command NetworkManager - no-daemon I get the following output: f...:~$ sudo NetworkManager --no-daemon NetworkManager: <info> starting... NetworkManager: <info> modem-manager is now available NetworkManager: SCPlugin-Ifupdown: init!
