I'm having a somewhat similar problem. Karmic cannot connect to a wireless router with WPA2 security (wireless card is an Intel 5100AGN). I'm using the same password on the router for the WPA2 that I used under Hardy without issue. When I changed the router over to WPA (still the same password) it connects without a problem.
I'm also running Karmic 9.10 (2.6.31-14, x64). -- Wifi networks bug in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala): unable to connect to any router, with any encryption: able to connect only via ethernet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474234 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
