I installed gnome-panel-dbg and ran the backtrace, find it attached.
I noticed that it said no debugging symbols found when I started gdb though.
Let me know if I need to install something else and run again.

When I finished the backtrace and quit the process I noticed that nautilus was
comsuming 70%CPU also. I killed it and started it again but it goes right back
up to 70%
Now when I tried to attach the backtrace to this page firefox hanging when the
file selector window pops up.
Maybe this is a problem attached to nautilus and/or gvfs?

I installed Konqueror to attach the backtrace.
