Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
Consider the use case where a user is attempting to connect to two different servers, with two different accounts, and two different passwords. This is completely possible, but if the user attempts this using book marks in the places menu, hitting both in quick succession, the user may not know which dialog is intended for which server/account/password ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Nov 10 14:00:25 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release Candidate i386 (20091020.3) Package: gvfs 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE= LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: gvfs Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 XsessionErrors: (gnome-settings-daemon:23812): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_propagate_error: assertion `src != NULL' failed (gnome-settings-daemon:23812): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_propagate_error: assertion `src != NULL' failed (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:23853): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (nautilus:23847): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed (nautilus:30411): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Connect to server password dialog does not indicate which server is being connected to, which username is being used, or which folder will be accessed. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
