Now I have more useful information. The panel increases height, not only with a projector, but every time we change plasma-netbook desktop theme, or desktop type. In attachment you will find: a) a printscreen + plasma-netbook config files by default after a kubuntu clear installation; (b) a printscreen + plasma-netbook config files after change desktop time and desktop theme 4 times. Hope this help, and please fix it, it seems to be not very difficult.
