I tried karmic's gparted, and was not actually able to replicate the erroneous automount when creating a new partition. It appears in gnome's computer place, but does not get automounted.
So I close the karmic task of this for now. Does anyone actually get a broken behaviour in karmic? For lucid, the bug is fixed in upstream git and will make it into the next upstream release. ** Changed in: gparted (Ubuntu Karmic) Status: In Progress => Won't Fix ** Changed in: gparted (Ubuntu Karmic) Assignee: Martin Pitt (pitti) => (unassigned) -- gparted brings up devicekit-disks authentication when scanning https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/428133 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
