I tried to install karmic on an external usb hdd. The installer crashes when writing grub to the disk. I think it is due to this bug. To test i installed the lucid package and its dependency libdbus-glib-1-2 when running the livecd. Then the installer completed succesfully. Now i can boot but the bootproces keeps corrupting my filesystem, ext4 errors but i think that is an other bug.
