The apparent latency on the SSD may or may not be related. It may be a kernel stall on something else entirely, a lock in the wireless driver, or pixies in the ether. I don't know at present. What I do know is that the error shows up in the Pulseaudio logs, so that is where I have to start.
I'll give the backport modules a go and report back. 2009/11/8 Daniel T Chen <seven.st...@gmail.com>: > Latency accessing the SSD can't be related to PA. > > Just for giggles, are you using linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic- > generic? > > -- > Netbook with SSD drops out with Winepulse driver > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478226 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > -- Neil Wilson -- Netbook with SSD drops out with Winepulse driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
