I can confirm that removing ricoh_mmc solved this issue for me. ---- As an aside, note that in Jaunty resuming worked for me, but the X server always crashed when resuming after the laptop had slept for more than a short while, so it was useless anyway. There's a bug about that somewhere, and as far as I understood it, it was related to the Intel graphics driver.
