Public bug reported: Blank DVDs are not recognised and are not mounted. When trying to burn something on to the blank DVD, the software (tried Brasero and k3b) complains that I should insert a blank disk. Tried a few different DVDs from different vendors, with same results.
The DVDs are fine, I can burn on them using other OS. Ubuntu Karmic has no issues recognising and burning onto blank CDs using the same drive. Also, burning DVDs worked fine in Jaunty using the same drive so I think it's a regression in Karmic. If any other information is needed, let me know and I can post it here. Thanks.
