Sorry, I'm closing this bug as invalid. The original report doesn't
include any information about where power savings could be made; later
comments include a list of possible improvements, but each of these
should be filed as a separate bug report (and on other packages than
acpi-support, which does not handle power management). This bug report
as it stands is too vague/general to be actionable.
