Public bug reported: Subtitleeditor, which uses libgstreamermm-0.10-2, was closing abruptly when I tried to open a video (I don't know if it's a crash because the program doesn't seem to be killed). The following message was output:
subtitleeditor: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0. Following suggestion from http://gna.org/bugs/?14386 I run subtitleeditor with the option --debug-all and the output was the following: ---- cut ---- vp/gstreamerplayer.cc:783 (on_element_msg_sync) prepare-xwindow-id... vp/gstreamerplayer.cc:487 (on_expose_event) subtitleeditor: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0. ---- cut ---- Solution: I've built and installed the experimental Debian package of libgstreammermm (version 0.10.5.2) and subtitleeditor no longer closes abruptly. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 i386. ** Affects: gstreamermm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- subtitleeditor closes abruptly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478293 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
