Binary package hint: usplash
The two usplash pulsing bars are always displayed over any window.
I have to kill the usplash process to get a normal screen.
Everything seems to go well afterwards.

After booting and connecting into my session, two usplash pulsing bars appears
permanently over the screen like two eyes looking left and right.
