Public bug reported: I set up some configuration in the /var/lib/mldonkey/*.ini files. On karmic update, all my modifications were lost.
Can't dpkg take care of this ? This would be not fixable since this files are not in /etc (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=508444 ) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Nov 8 11:16:21 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: mldonkey-server 3.0.0-3 [modified: usr/lib/mldonkey/mldonkey_options usr/lib/mldonkey/mldonkey_files usr/lib/mldonkey/mldonkey_command usr/lib/mldonkey/mldonkey_submit usr/bin/mlnet] ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=fr_FR:fr PATH=(custom, user) LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: mldonkey Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 XsessionErrors: (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:2415): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed ** Affects: mldonkey (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- mldonkey conf files should not be crushed on update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
