Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.28-16-generic
i am trying to do an upgrade of the kernel just using sudo apt-get update and then sudo apt-get upgrade and it fails trying to install the new kernel. NOt sure why, any help would be appreciated. i had the same issue with the -15-generic kernel and I posted about it here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1277389 i followed all the instructions for what log files I should attach but it only allows one attachment so I had to archive them together and attach that. hope that's ok.
