I've been having unrelated hardware and/or 9.10 upgrade troubles but I
just tested this out with a USB-based LiveCD boot. Suspend with SD card
inserted seems to work fine, nothing crashed and the filesystem remained
mounted. I tested this about half a dozen times on my Aspire One. The
bug seems to be fixed in my case.
