hm, sure but nautilus cannot 'determine the permissions of the hard drive'.
and even chmod does not work:

spo...@spoilt:/media$ sudo chmod 777 Mass\ Storage/
drwx------  1 spoilt spoilt 4096 2009-11-05 03:54 Mass Storage
spo...@spoilt:/media$ sudo chmod 777 'Mass Storage'
drwx------  1 spoilt spoilt 4096 2009-11-05 03:54 Mass Storage

is this normal?
