I have a Linksys WUSB600N USB wifi adapter as well. It was connecting to my WPA2 Personal network fine in 9.04, but broke once I upgraded to 9.10. It could scan it (most of the time...), but could not connect.
Webbie's temporary fix (adding rt2800usb to the blacklist) worked for me.
