Is there anything else that is needed to get this thing look at by the
developers?  I opened up a bug, confirmed that it's fairly wide spread
(by the length of the comments)  and it's fairly critical as the fix is
to remove parts of what Ubuntu comes shipped and defaulted with,  that
is after you experience your machine locking up to the point where you
have to physically have to turn off the machine (IE: unplug it , hard
reboot, etc etc).
