Public bug reported: The balloon graphic when pressing the VolumeUp, VolumeDown, VolumeMute buttons is showing up like static, it is to actully show a speaker with a slider indicating how loud the volume is.
This also occurred when I VNCed in to my box (I've never did that before so I don't know what the balloon is saying but it showed up when I logged in). It appeared as static on both VNC desktop and real desktop. It appears to be a common element as when I disconnect the network cable, a balloon that states loss of network also shows up as static. Let me know what information I need to give and how to get it to help figure this out and I'll send it ASAP. Perhaps this is caused by the ATI Radion 7000 graphics card I've got that is not working with 3D rendering? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Volume balloon graphic screwed up Ubuntu 9.10. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474673 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
