Public bug reported: Even when boosted to maximum (480% I think) the audio on my netbook is not loud enough, and extremely crackly through the internal speakers and external speakers/headphones. The problem was fixed when I enabled Multimedia Systems Selector and selected ALSA audio, and downloaded the ALSA audio mixer to re-adjust my audio to maximum volume, which now sounds perfect through both outputs.
I am using Karmic Koala Netbook Remix. ** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Pulse Audio is too quiet and crackly, problem solved by switching back to ALSA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472353 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
