Comment 6 for bug 379052 mookie kong wrote on 2009-10-04: I have a HP Mini 1010nr with the Broadcom 4312 wifi card. I see this too, to get it to work, I had to put in the install CD and add it as a source in Synaptic. Then I installed bcmwl- kernel-source (which will install dkms, fakeroot and something else). This let me start using my 4312 in 9.10 beta. I have the install USB that successfully mimicked a CD to install Ubuntu. I assume from this comment that the missing drive may exist on the USB. Can anyone provide a step-by-step guide to do the process described above? Marvelous system. -- [regression] Broadcom 4312 Not working in 9.10 (Kernel 2.6.30 restricted modules ?) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379052 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
