I was going to title another the "Upgrade Network Deadlock - can't
download networks driver without network driver"

I would extend this to any network drivers - there are a few ethernet
drivers (I have a netbook with a broadcom combo which means I have
nothing but USB until I enable proprietary drivers.

What should happen is there should be a combination deb package or
directory with all the drivers which MIGHT be required installed by
default, but purgeable (like a cache).

This is biting my frequently with karmic upgrades - after I get the
upgrade, I have no connectivity, and can't get connectivity unless there
is some way to download a driver.

** Also affects: linux-restricted-modules (Ubuntu)
