Same error here. I waited until a stable releae of karmic to upgrade, and ran into this bug. It is now November 2. The original bug was posted on 10/8, and the fix was posted on 10/20. So, when WILL this fix be implemented. Is there a workaround short of reverting back to jaunty. This makes the machine unusuable in my situation. PLEASE send this fix on !
